Oppo has officially unveiled the Reno8 Pro smartphone in China today, making it the world’s first model based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 single-chip system.
However, there is no doubt that the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 will be popular among smartphone manufacturers and the Reno8 Pro will only be the first swallow. The smartphone also received as its flagship LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 2.1 flash memory and the MariSilicon X NPU of the brand – it allows you to improve the quality of photos and videos.
The Oppo Reno8 Pro features a Samsung E4 OLED display with a diagonal of 6.62 inches, a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels, a frame rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 1300 cd/m². Fingerprint scanner is the bottom screen.
Built-in front camera – 32 megapixel with Sony IMX709 sensor, the main camera uses sensors with a resolution of 50 MP (Sony IMX766, OIS), 8 MP (OmniVision OV08D10) and 2 MP. The capacity of the battery is 4500 mAh, 80 watts of fast wired charging is supported. There is also an NFC adapter, just a speaker.
Oppo Reno8 Pro is 7.57mm thick and weighs 188 grams. Android 12 with ColorOS 12.1.1 interface is used as the operating system. The authors assure that the smartphone will work for three years without loss of performance. Prices are as follows: 8/128GB – $450, 8/256GB – $480, 12/256GB – $525. Source
