Two siblings separated at birth
OPPO Reno 11 and 11 Pro are more similar than ever, with significant changes in points such as the processor or camera sensor. Starting from the design, the first thing that catches your attention is the new camera module. How little… different.
When we turn them upside down we find curved panels 6.7 inches for Reno 11 and 6.74 for the Pro model. There are changes in resolution, with 1.5K and a maximum brightness of 1,600 nits for the Pro model, while the Reno 11 opts for a slightly lower resolution and maximum brightness not reaching 1,000 nits.
Depending on the model, there are also significant changes in the processor with MediaTek Dimensity 8200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+. Last year we were able to confirm that MediaTek is more efficient than the Gen 1+, so the Reno 11 is a pretty balanced option despite not having Qualcomm.
They look like two identical offerings in the photo section, but significant changes in the sensor. Although the Reno 11 model comes with Sony LYT600, both are signed by Sony. This is the Japanese company’s new commitment to next-generation sensors, which OnePlus first introduced with Open. The Pro model is more conservative with the IMX series and 890 variant.
The rest of the specs are similar, with curiosities like the Reno 11 model having a bit more battery, yes, at the expense of giving up 80W fast charging and settling for 67W. Both feature what OPPO describes as “the industry’s first holographic audio technology.” They promise that the sound from their speakers can be projected up to five meters away, as well as creating a stereo sensation that can be adapted to “almost any two-channel headphone on the market.”
