Today, the official premiere of Honor’s mid-range flagship, the Honor 100 Pro, took place in China. The novelty lost the 200 megapixel sensor and became better. Honor guarantees that the smartphone takes photos at the level of a digital SLR camera, and during the presentation photos taken with the main camera of the Honor 100 Pro were actively compared with photos taken with the iPhone 15 camera.

Honor 100 Pro became the first model in the world to have the Sony IMX906 sensor as part of the main camera. The optical format of this sensor is 1/1.56 inch, large pixels and 2 µm in size. A module with a 32-megapixel sensor and a telephoto lens is responsible for shooting with optical zoom. Both this module and the main module support optical and digital combined stabilization. Finally, the third module with a 12 MP resolution sensor, an ultra-wide-angle lens with a 112 ° viewing angle and autofocus. This module is suitable for macro photography as the minimum focusing distance is 2.5cm.

Honor 100 Pro touts a front-facing 50-megapixel Sony IMX816 sensor, complemented by an autofocus system and a fast lens with F/2.0 aperture. The second sensor on the front camera is a 2.0-megapixel sensor used to analyze the depth of the scene.

The OLED display is characterized by a diagonal of 6.78 inches, 1.5K resolution and a frame rate of 120 Hz. Since the PWM control frequency is 3840 Hz, the screen is flicker-free. The smartphone is built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 single-chip platform. The top version has 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of flash memory.

The battery capacity is 5000 mAh and it supports 100 W wired charging and 66 W wireless charging. Other features include loud stereo speakers, NFC chip and the presence of the C1 chip (the same one that made the Honor Magic5 Pro the winner of many tests on communication quality conducted by the China Telecom operator).

Honor 100 Pro runs MagicOS 7.2. Prices are as follows: 12/256 GB – $475, 16/256 GB – $515, 16/512 GB – $560, 16 GB/1TB – $615. Today, Honor also introduced the Honor 100, the basic model of the series.
