A recent leak showed a 3D render of the Huawei smartphone, which begs the question whether it is the Nova 12 Ultra or the P70. The rendering bears a striking resemblance to the Huawei Nova 11, but some of the flagship features also leave us scratching our heads.

The render shows the phone having the same cylindrical camera module as the Huawei Nova 11. However, the placement of the cameras is slightly different from previous Nova models.

There are three buttons on the right side of the phone: the volume rockers and the power button with a red highlight. The corners are rounded, there is no significant curvature on the sides.

Interestingly, the phone’s camera island features XMAGE branding, which is currently exclusive to Huawei’s flagship P series smartphones, leading to speculation that it could be the Huawei P70. However, even the tipster who shared the image expressed uncertainty about this possibility.

Another alleged Huawei Nova 12 render surfaced online a few days ago, showing a significantly different camera setup compared to the one seen in the last leak. However, considering these are just leaked images, the design may still change.

Adding to the confusion, there are also rumors that the Nova 12 Ultra could potentially offer a few extra features, including XMAE imaging capabilities.
