Vivo, which recently introduced its flagship X100 series, is reportedly working on a new mid-range smartphone in the Vivo S18 series. Now, the key specifications of Vivo S18 and S18 Pro have been leaked online courtesy of Weibo tipster WhyLab.

Appearing to showcase the two smartphones, the leak reveals that the Vivo S18 will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. We have already seen this SoC in action on the new Honor 100, so the Vivo S18 features SD 7 Gen 3 It will be one of the first devices.

It will be equipped with an OLED screen with 2800 nits brightness and a 5000 mAh battery. Additionally, the smartphone will offer three RAM configurations of 8 GB, 12 GB or 16 GB and two memory options of 256 GB or 512 GB.

On the other hand, Vivo S18 Pro will reportedly be powered by the flagship Dimensity 9200+ chipset and offer a memory configuration similar to the Vivo S18. It will also be powered by a 5,000 mAh battery. It was previously reported that both smartphones will support 80W fast charging.

The leak also reveals that the main camera of the Vivo S18 Pro is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 sensor, the same as the Vivo X100. Additionally, the smartphone will have WiFi 7 compatibility.

Following past trends, Vivo S18 is expected to be released globally as Vivo V30, while S18 Pro is also expected to be launched as Vivo V30 Pro. The S17e’s predecessor should also be followed by the S18e, which could be introduced globally as the V30e. Although there is no official statement about the launch date and price of the Vivo S18 series, we can expect to hear more details from Vivo in the coming weeks.
