The $100 Xiaomi Redmi 13C 4G smartphone was introduced a month ago and the Redmi 13C 5G is also expected to launch soon. And today Xiaomi announced its foundation. The advertising poster tells us that the heart of the innovation will be Dimensity 6100+.

If earlier budget versions of a model with 5G were much more powerful than a similar version with 4G, now this is not always the case. Specifically, the performance of the above SoC is roughly the same as the Helio G99 that underpins the Redmi 13C 4G. Actually, this is not surprising, because the features of these platforms are the same, down to the frequencies, and the difference is only in the modems.

However, it is worth noting here that there are two modifications of Redmi 13C 4G in the world. One is based on the Helio G99, and the other is based on the less productive Helio G88 SoC, manufactured using an older technology.

As for the rest, the novelty is attributed to an IPS screen with a diagonal of 6.74 inches with HD + resolution, 8/256 GB of memory, a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh and a 50-megapixel camera.
