The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to launch in January 2024, and leaks have already given us a look at its design. Now, thanks to the FCC, we can take a closer look at the phone’s S-Pen.

The FCC certification website now includes information about the S Pen, identified by the model number EJ-PS928. The listing shows that the design of the S Pen is similar to the one seen on the Galaxy S23 Ultra, with the button on the left side and the click button at the top.

The S Pen will operate in the 2402-2480 MHz frequency range, which is the specific radio frequency range that the S Pen uses to communicate with the Galaxy S24 Ultra. This data contains information about the S Pen’s position, pressure and orientation. This information is used by the Galaxy S24 Ultra to provide various features such as handwriting recognition, airborne gestures, and remote control.

The length of the pen is 104.64 mm but its weight is unknown. Also, the IP rating has not been confirmed yet.

A new Windows Report also shed light on the phone’s features and design. The Galaxy S24 Ultra reportedly features a sleek, boxy design with near-flat edges and a flat display. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and have 12 GB of RAM. Storage options range from 256GB to 1TB.

Samsung has also greatly expanded the cooling capabilities of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, with an evaporation chamber that is 1.9 times larger than the previous model.

Four rear cameras remain: 200 MP main sensor, 12 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 10 MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and 50 MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. In addition, the device will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging support.
