Samsung is expected to launch the next generation Galaxy A smartphones next year. So far, we have seen the Galaxy A35 5G, Galaxy A15 and Galaxy A25 5G models in leaked images. Now the Samsung Galaxy A55 has also appeared in leaked CAD-based images that reveal its design from every angle. The device is expected to be the successor to the Galaxy A54, which was announced in March this year.
The Samsung Galaxy A55 looks like a box form factor from the very beginning. We can notice a protrusion on the right frame where the power and volume buttons are located. We can say that the South Korean brand has made this design mainstream in its upcoming Galaxy A phones, as seen in the Galaxy A35 and A15. There are three triple rear cameras arranged vertically on the back of the device.
The Samsung Galaxy A55 has a USB-C port and a speaker grill on the bottom port. There is a SIM card tray on the top edge. There is no 3.5 mm jack visible in the renders. On the front of the smartphone, there is a center-aligned display with a notch and a diagonal of 6.5 inches. The screen is surrounded by thin bezels. The dimensions of the Galaxy A55 will be 161.1 × 77.3 / 77.9 × 8.2 mm. Galaxy A55 is available in black color.
Today’s report has revealed that the Samsung Galaxy A55 and A35 will feature metal unibody bodies instead of the plastic bodies of previous models. This will give both phones a premium look. Earlier reports suggest that the Galaxy A55 will be powered by a yet-to-be-announced Exynos 1480 processor with AMD GPU support. The 3C certification of the device revealed 25W fast charging support.
