The iQOO Neo 9 series flagship phones are expected to be launched in China this month. However, the brand still does not talk about the launch date. The series is expected to include iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro as successors to Neo 8 and Neo 8 Pro respectively. According to reports, these devices will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Dimensity 9300 chipsets respectively. Today, a Digital Chat Station tipster shared the key specifications of the Neo 9 Pro.

According to the leak source, iQOO Neo 9 Pro will have a 6.78-inch flat OLED panel with a resolution of 1.5K and 2800 × 1260 pixels. The screen will also have a 144Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming and a built-in fingerprint sensor. Like the iQOO 12 series, Neo 9 Pro will also come with Android 14 based on OriginOS 4.

The Dimensity 9300-based Neo 9 Pro is expected to ship with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, but specific details of the RAM and storage configuration have not been disclosed. Although the exact battery size is not mentioned, Neo 9 Pro supports 120W fast charging. For an enhanced gaming experience, the device will come with iQOO’s proprietary Q1 chip, which is also present in the iQOO 12 series.

The main camera of iQOO Neo 9 Pro will have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 main camera with OIS support and a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens. Although it is not mentioned in the leak, it seems that there will be a 16 megapixel camera on the front of the device.

As for the design, Neo 9 Pro will have a plastic frame. Additionally, the glass and leather back of the device will also be available for sale. There is currently no information about the price of the device. Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro are now available to order through online retail channels.
