Nubia recently confirmed that the Nubia Z60 Ultra will be released in China on December 19. The device is designed to compete with devices such as Realme GT 5 Pro, OnePlus 12, iQOO 12 Pro and Xiaomi 14 Pro, which were recently launched in the Chinese market. The first poster image shows a powerful camera with a 50-megapixel main lens with 18mm focal length and wide aperture for exceptional clarity. Additionally, the device has a 50-megapixel high-resolution optical lens with a 35mm focal length, which exceeds the capabilities of the camera’s one-inch sensor. Notably, the phone has a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with a focal length of 85 mm. All three cameras will have optical image stabilization (OIS) support.
The second teaser highlights the immersive full-screen display of the device along with the integrated under-display camera for a seamless visual experience. The device will be equipped with the BOE Q9+ display panel, which will be integrated with the company’s fifth-generation Under-Display Camera (UDC) technology. It will be complemented by a custom display chip and ultra-large 2.8 micron pixels. Although the company does not disclose the megapixel number of the front camera, it appears that the Z60 Ultra will have a 16-megapixel camera under the screen, like the Red Magic 9 Pro series.
While the Nubia Z60 Ultra is confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the device is expected to come with up to 16 GB LPDDR5x RAM, up to 1 TB UFS 4.0 storage and a 6,000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging. . It is said to have a 6.8-inch OLED panel on the front with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
