Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO is preparing for the global launch of its newest smartphone, POCO X6 Pro. It is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K70E. Thailand recently certified the device, hinting at a possible international release.
NBTC in Thailand has approved the POCO X6 Pro, identified by model number 2311DRK48G. Additionally, this reveal strengthens the connection between the POCO X6 Pro and the Redmi K70E, which is part of the recent launch of the Xiaomi Redmi K70 series in China.
A subtle but important detail is the model numbers. The Redmi K70 has ID 2311DRK48C with the letter ‘C’ indicating that it is available for sale in China. In contrast, the POCO X6 Pro’s model number is 2311DRK48G; where ‘G’ stands for Global Markets. The India version with model number 2311DRK48I also confirms that the device will be launched in the subcontinent.
POCO X6 Pro has a 6.67-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. There will also be some nice additions like Dolby Vision, HDR 10+ and 1800 nits maximum brightness.
Additionally, a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra SoC powers the device and offers configurations with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB internal storage. The device seems to be a pleasure for users with such impressive features.
It is noteworthy that POCO X6 Pro does not compromise on durability. Thanks to the powerful battery with a capacity of 5500 mAh, users can count on long-term use without the need for frequent charging. In addition, the device stands out with its 90 W fast charging support, which provides fast and efficient charging.
