In February, Samsung launched its flagship phone of 2023, the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Rumors of the S24 Ultra first surfaced in April, and we’ve had numerous leaks since then.

5X and 10X Telephoto Units

Samsung has used four rear cameras since the S21 Ultra’s debut; two of these were telephoto lenses with 3x and 10x optical zoom. And new rumors suggest that the upcoming S24 Ultra will feature a 3x telephoto camera. We will probably see a 5x telephoto lens like the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Meanwhile, the 10x periscope is probably here to stay.

Similarly, the main shooter is confirmed to have a 200MP sensor as mentioned above. Ultrawide will also remain unchanged at 12MP. As for selfies, we can expect some software improvements, but the resolution will remain at 12MP. FLAT Titanium Design

Samsung’s current-generation flagship, the S23 Ultra, comes with an aluminum armored frame that is sturdy enough for the average person. However, the South Korean technology giant has apparently raised the bar with its titanium frame. Despite having all this heavy metal, popular Samsung tipster IceUniverse claims that the S24 Ultra won’t carry any weight. S23 Ultra – It will be 1 gram lighter than 233 grams.

Additionally, tipster David Martin recently uploaded three new photos of the alleged Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. In these photos, Samsung’s new flagship phone has a flat design this time. Since the brand’s logo is somewhat blurred, we will have to look at these photos with suspicious eyes, despite their striking similarity.

ISOCELL Zoom Anywhere

Samsung’s ISOCELL video revealed that the 200MP ISOCELL sensors will be powered by Qualcomm’s AI engine (essentially an NPU) to perform real-time automatic object tracking. This tracking feature is courtesy of Zoom Anyplace.

Zoom Anyplace supports 4K video resolution with 4x zoom. You can zoom in or out at any point in the video, as the sensor captures both full-frame and zoomed video simultaneously; so you can replace the frame later.

Another thing mentioned in the video is Remosaic’s end-to-end artificial intelligence. This image processing method, known simply as E2E Remosaic, emphasizes parallel image processing rather than serial processing. The improvement will double the capture speed, producing better images.

Snapdragon 8 Generation 3 for Galaxy

From the video prepared for ISOCELL, it can be concluded that the new Galaxy device will use Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. However, Samsung may also follow its past practices and launch Exynos and Snapdragon variants for certain markets. As for the operating system, they will feature OneUI 6.1 based on Android 14.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra launch and availability

The Galaxy S24 series is expected to be released in January 2024. According to the Seoul Economic Newspaper, Samsung plans to introduce its smartphone in the USA, probably at an event to be held in San Francisco. However, there are no price leaks at the moment.
