A newly released video reveals the key features of the upcoming iQOO Neo 9 series, consisting of iQOO Neo 9 and iQOO Neo 9 Pro. The video gives us a look inside and it looks pretty exciting.
Latest rumors point to a powerful 6.78-inch 1.5K, 144Hz RR OLED display for a vibrant visual experience on both Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro with flat OLED panels. The rear panel flaunts a dual camera setup and the phones will be available in three colours: black, blue and a striking red and white dual colour. Especially the red model may have a leather back, while the others may have a glass back.
The teaser video also confirms the integration of iQOO’s proprietary Q1 chip with the Dimensity 9300 chipset for enhanced graphics. The video below confirms that the Neo 9 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, while the Pro model will be powered by the latest Dimensity 9300 chip.
Rumored additional features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, IR blaster, dual speakers, X-axis linear motor, and plastic middle frame. The devices will run on Android 14 with OriginOS 4 installed.
Additionally, both models are expected to have a 5,160mAh battery with 120W charging capacity. Storage options include 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB and a massive 16GB + 1TB.
The camera setup of both models is expected to include a 50 MP primary sensor (Sony IMX920, OIS) along with an 8 MP ultra-wide lens for the Neo 9 and a 50 MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens for the Neo 9 Pro. A 16 MP front camera is also expected.
While we wait for the launch of the rumored Neo 9 series, iQOO has prepared a few more surprises. An official confirmation from the brand regarding these additional devices is still awaited. To get to know the iQOO Neo 9 series and related devices, wait for the official presentation on December 27.
