Earlier this year, Xiaomi collaborated with Disney to launch a special version of its Civi 3 smartphone. The product celebrates Disney’s 100th anniversary. A few months after that, the company is now unveiling another device as part of the partnership. The brand will use Civi 3 once again. However, the Disney character used for the design will be different.
The second Xiaomi smartphone dedicated to Disney’s 100th anniversary is dedicated to Lotso
Xiaomi said it will launch its second Disney 100th anniversary smartphone on January 22. It will be announced at 19:00 local time (GMT+8) in China. According to a teaser released by the company, the special edition phone will again be based on the Civi 3. However, instead of “Mickey Mouse” like the first model, it will be themed with the Disney Pixar character “Strawberry Bear”.
For those who don’t know, Strawberry Bear is the common name of the Toy Story 3 character Lotso in China. This character’s full name is Lots-o’-Huggin Bear. So the phone will most likely be in “strawberry pink” color. This symbol can also be engraved on the rear window. The retail box may also include a custom cover and SIM eject pin, as well as stickers.
As for the features, there will be no changes. It will be the same as the regular version and may come in a single configuration of 12GB + 512GB storage. Civi 3 features a 6.55-inch FHD+ 120Hz curved OLED display with pill-shaped notch and Dolby Vision support. It is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra chip coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
It comes with a 50MP (Wide, OIS) + 8MP (UltraWide) + 2MP (Macro) triple camera system on the back and a 32MP (Wide) + 32MP (UltraWide) dual camera setup on the front. Other features include in-display fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, 4,500 mAh battery and 67W wired charging support.
