Honor is gearing up for the launch of its Magic6 series flagship smartphones, which are expected to be available in the first half of January 2024. On the eve of the announcement, a “live” photo of the Honor Magic6 Pro smartphone appeared on the Internet, confirming that the new model will have the same appearance as its predecessor, Magic5 Pro.

Judging by the image of the innovation published by the user of the Weibo social network, the rear panel of the Magic6 Pro has three cameras placed in a triangular shape on a circular protrusion. The top camera is equipped with a periscopic lens, and below it there is the inscription “100x zoom”.

The user also published an image created by one of the members of the social network, which better shows the overall design of the module with the camera. One of the sources had previously reported that Honor plans to use the new OmniVision OV50K sensor in the Magic6 series.

The company has already confirmed that it will introduce a model under the Porsche Design brand next month. Apparently, the new product will be announced together with the Honor Magic6 series.

In October, the company announced that the base Honor Magic6 model would receive the Magic Capsule interface, based on the Dynamic Island example on the iPhone, which displays messages and widgets and provides “eye-tracking-based multi-modal interaction”. Its work is enabled by the artificial intelligence capabilities of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, which will probably be used in the smartphone.
