New Galaxy XCover 7 leak reveals additional features and price

Samsung’s upcoming protected smartphone Galaxy XCover 7 has been fueling rumors for a while with its leaks. We have already seen the design of the phone and now a new leak reveals important information about the screen size, memory options and price.

According to reliable source Roland Quandt, Galaxy XCover 7 is expected to have a 6.6-inch FHD + screen. Priced at less than €400, the device will come with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB generous storage. If this leak is true, the XCover 7 will have the same 6.6-inch screen size as its predecessor, the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro.

Additionally, previous reports also pointed to a user-removable 4,000mAh battery, similar to Samsung’s previous rugged phone. It will also have 25W wired charging support.

Recently, the device also appeared on the Geekbench listing, which showed that the phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor. Naturally, since the phone is durable, it is expected to have an IP68 dust and water resistance rating. The smartphone can also get MIL-STD 810 Military military standard. This standard guarantees the level of durability of a smartphone or any other device in harsh environmental conditions.

Although Samsung is still tight-lipped about the launch date, the XCover 7 has appeared on certification sites in Thailand, India and Malaysia, indicating that it will be released in these regions soon.

Samsung’s journey towards reliable phones began in 2011, and the XCover 7 looks set to continue that legacy. And this is not the only one; Another rugged device from Samsung, the Galaxy Tab Active5, recently received FCC approval, signaling a possible joint launch. We will inform you when there are new developments regarding these devices.
