OnePlus On It recently received a software update that includes the November security patch. The brand is now releasing a new update for its foldable phone. However, this is not the final version of Android 14. OnePlus is committed to constantly improving the software and the new update is no different as it brings improvements and appears to fix various issues.

OnePlus Open gets software update

OnePlus On It still runs on OxygenOS 13.2 based on Android 13. The recently released update was spotted on the OnePlus Open: The Chatroom channel on Telegram. It has firmware version CPH2551_13.2.0.203(EX01) and weighs only 190.66 MB. The latest update is much lighter than its predecessor, weighing 508 MB. Also includes security patches from December 2023.

The new update includes a number of software and performance improvements to improve the overall user experience OnePlus On. It improves system stability, touch control algorithm and reduces device power consumption. Network stability and compatibility have also been improved.

The update also fixes many camera issues for photography enthusiasts. This reduces shutter lag when the Night Landscape button is off. Additionally, retouching, filter, resolution and flash features have been corrected. The update also fixes the issue where the home screen freezes when using dual preview with the rear camera.

The latest update is being rolled out gradually and is expected to be automatically available for all devices. Users can also check manually by going to: Settings > About device > OxygenOS > Check for updates.
