iQOO is preparing to launch its iQOO Neo 9 series smartphones in China, which is scheduled to be released on December 27. The brand has been constantly announcing important information about Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro in recent days. In the latest update, iQOO shared a poster revealing the features of the Neo 9 Pro’s main and ultra-wide cameras.

Features of iQOO Neo 9 Pro camera

The iQOO Neo 9 Pro stands out as a performance-focused sub-flagship smartphone that departs from the traditional triple camera setup that includes a primary, ultra-wide-angle and macro/telephoto lens. Instead, it opts for a dual-camera setup that includes the same primary and ultra-wide sensors as the camera-centric flagship Vivo X100, which launched in China in November.

The Neo 9 Pro sports a powerful 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 main camera, likely equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS). Additionally, the device will feature a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 camera sensor designed to capture wide ultra-wide shots.

According to other reports, the iQOO Neo 9 Pro will have a 6.78-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The Dimensity 9300 based device can have 12GB/16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB/512GB UFS 4.0 storage.

The device will be powered by a 5160mAh battery with 120W fast charging. The device, which will run Android 14 based on OriginOS 4, will also have other features such as an in-screen fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, IR emitter and X-axis linear motor. There is currently no information about the price of the device. . It is expected to be released in three colors such as Flighting Black, Nautical Blue, and Red and White Soul.
