The Digital Chat Station tipster talked about the key features of the Nova 12 Ultra in a new post on Weibo. Here’s a look at what you can expect from the device.
According to DCS, Nova 12 Ultra will have an OLED panel with 1.5K resolution. Although it is not mentioned in the leak, it looks like it can support up to 120Hz refresh rate. A few images of the device have surfaced recently, confirming its rear design. The image leaked above offers the first look at the quad-curved display design, which includes a pill-shaped cutout for the dual-camera selfie setup.
The front camera of the Nova 12 Ultra is expected to have a 64-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel portrait lens that supports 2x optical zoom. On the back, the device will feature a 50-megapixel primary camera with a 1/1.55-inch camera sensor with physically variable aperture from f/1.4 to f/4.0. The leaker did not mention the details of other cameras on the device.
The leak claims that the device will have a 5G-enabled Kirin chip, but it is not stated whether it is the Kirin 9000 that also powers the Mate 60 series. The device will be powered by a 4,600mAh battery with 100W charging. It will also support other functions such as two-way satellite communications, artificial intelligence air-to-air control and smart payments.
Nova 12 Ultra will be available in three colors: No. 12 (branded blue), Obsidian Black and Smoke Grey. According to a recent leak, the price of the device in the Chinese market will be 5,499 yuan (~$775).
