OnePlus 9RT starts receiving stable OxygenOS 14 update

After several stable updates this month, the OnePlus 9RT is finally getting the stable OxygenOS 14 update. The smartphone received a minor bug fix in its second firmware update of the month this morning. OxygenOS 14 stable udapte is currently rolling out to closed and open beta participants. The extended rollout will happen within a few days for regular users.

Firmware version MT2111_14.0.0.211 (EX01) is rolling out to OnePlus 9RT India variants. It will be available in other regions in the coming days. However, there are no details about its size yet. However, the size will vary depending on whether you are a beta or regular user.

Features of OxygenOS 14

OxygenOS 14 stable update comes with many new features and improvements. It also offers the luxury of Android 14, which ensures privacy and data security. Below is the official update changelog:

• Added Fluid Cloud, a way to interact with changing forms that allows you to instantly view up-to-date information.

• Adds a File Dock that you can drag and drop to transfer content between apps and devices.
• Added Content Extraction, a feature that can recognize and extract text and images on the screen with a single touch.

• Improves the Shelf by adding more widget suggestions.

• Improves photo and video permission management for more secure app access.
Yield improvement
• Improves system stability, application launch speed and animation smoothness

• Updates Aquamorphic Design with a natural, soft and sharp color style for more comfortable color reproduction.
• Adds Aquamorphic theme tunes and updates system notification sounds.
• It improves system animations, making them even more fluid.
User maintenance
• Added Carbon Tracking AOD, which visualizes the carbon emissions you avoid while walking instead of driving.

Users update their OnePlus 9RT smartphones to the latest firmware version: MT2111_13.1.0.595 (EX01) or MT2111_13.1.0.592 (EX01) to Get the OxygenOS 14 stable update. To manually check for the update, users can go to: Settings > About device > tap Update > tap the icon in the top right corner > check for updates.

However, most of the issues are mostly resolved in the stable build, but the user can still report bugs if found. To easily leave feedback, they can dial *#800# on Google Dialer or share on OnePlus Community.

Earlier this month, OnePlus 9RT received the December 2023 update and today it received a minor update to fix bugs in OxygenOS 13. By the way, the device already received the OxygenOS 14 2 open beta version last month.
