OnePlus is expected to announce the OnePlus Ace 3 in China on January 4, 2024, but official confirmation of the launch date is still awaited. Despite the surprise surrounding the launch date, OnePlus offered a sneak peek at the device’s design with a promotional video that revealed the attractive Sand Gold color option.

OnePlus Ace 3 design revealed

The video highlights the rear panel design of the OnePlus Ace 3, showing off the circular camera module. The right side houses the volume rocker and power key, while the left side houses the notification slider. The top edge of the Ace 3 appears to house the microphone, IR blaster, and speaker hole. It is noteworthy that the front of the smartphone was not revealed in the teaser, and OnePlus has not offered any official details about the specifications of the device at this point.

OnePlus Ace 3 Features

According to reports, OnePlus Ace 3 will feature a 6.78-inch OLED display with curved edges offering 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It will have an in-display fingerprint scanner for security and will run Android 14 based on ColorOS 14.

Ace 3 will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, 12GB/16GB LPDDR5x RAM, 256GB/512GB/1TB UFS 4.0 storage and 5500mAh battery with 100W charging. While there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front, it is said that there will be a 50-megapixel IMX890 main camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera on the back. It is likely to come with a starting price of 3,299 yuan (~$460).

Ace 3 will enter the global market on January 23 under the OnePlus 12R moniker. This event predicts the appearance of OnePlus 12 and some other devices.
