OnePlus will launch the OnePlus Ace 3 in China on January 4. Yesterday, the company released several teasers revealing the design and color options of the device. Today, the brand released a few more posters to confirm the display specifications of the Ace 3.

OnePlus Ace 3 display details confirmed

OnePlus Ace 3 will have BOE’s 6.78-inch OLED panel. The remaining features of the display are the same as those found on the OnePlus 12, although it differs slightly at a slightly lower 1.5K resolution than the OnePlus 12’s 2K resolution.

The X1 series will be equipped with features such as 8T LTPO panel, P1 display chip, 800 nits manual peak brightness, 1600 nits global peak brightness and up to 4500 nits peak brightness. It is also said that the screen supports 120Hz refresh rate. As seen in the images, the perforated screen will have curved edges similar to the OP12 screen.

OnePlus Ace 3 is expected to have Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and a 5,000mAh battery with 100W charging. It is expected to have up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. On the photography front, the Ace 3 is expected to feature a 16-megapixel front camera and a triple camera setup of 50-megapixel (IMX890 with OIS) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro). It is expected to run Android 14 based on ColorOS 14. Ace 3 is expected to compete with devices such as Redmi K70, Honor 90 GT and iQOO Neo 9 in the Chinese market.

In India and other markets like North America and Europe, Ace 3 will be renamed as OnePlus 12R. The 12R is available in Iron Gray and Cool Blue color options, while China will purchase the Ace 3 in Sand Gold, Star Black and Lunar Sea Blue color options.
