Redmi Note 12 4G was launched in India at the end of March. It has been on sale in the country since the beginning of April. During these months, the device reduced its price twice. This brought down its price by Rs 2,000. The phone is now available at its lowest price ever, thanks to another price cut.

Redmi Note 12 4G gets third price drop in India

Redmi Note 12 4G now starts at ₹11,999 for the base 6GB + 64GB variant. On the other hand, the top-end 6GB + 128GB variant is priced at ₹13,999. The new prices are valid across all channels and retailers. The phone is available in Ice Blue, Lunar Black or Sunrise Gold.

Shoppers can avail an additional Rs 1,500 discount when making transactions with select credit cards, which varies across merchants. It is worth noting that the phone was sold at this price during the festive Diwali sale. However, this was a discount offered by the brand and it was a price reduction.

Redmi Note 12 4G was initially launched at a price of ₹14,999 and ₹16,999 for 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB storage configurations respectively. Its price fell by Rs 1,000 in July and another Rs 1,000 in August.

Features of Redmi Note 12 4G

Redmi Note 12 4G is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 processor. The chipset is paired with LPDDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. It was launched with MIUI 14 based on Android 13 and is eligible for HyperOS update based on Android 14. The smartphone has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a hole in the middle. The screen has a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness level of 1200 nits.

On the back, there is a triple camera system consisting of a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide unit and a 2-megapixel macro camera. On the front, there is a 13 megapixel selfie camera.

The device does not have dual stereo speakers, but it does have a 3.5mm headphone jack, a dedicated MicroSD card slot, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Finally, it is supported by a 5000mAh battery with 33W charging support.
