After launching the flagship and mid-range models, Samsung is rolling out Android 14 and One UI 6.0 for the budget Galaxy M13 5G. Starting with Indian users, the update brings various UI tweaks and app improvements.

Users can expect an optimized shortcut bar for easier access to frequently used settings, an updated emoji library for more expressive communication, and a modern default font for better clarity. Additionally, the media player widget has been revamped with a dynamic wave animation, and the clock widget on the lock screen offers more size, style and placement options for personalization.

Samsung’s standard apps have also been revamped, including Gallery, Internet, Messages, Phone and Reminders. Some apps even remove the “Samsung” branding for a better look. The built-in photo editor has easy-to-navigate controls for editing photos, while a dedicated video editor called Studio takes care of your video editing needs.

This update marks the M13 5G’s second major update since its launch with Android 12. The phone, which received Android 13 last year, is now guaranteed to receive two more major updates, and its compatibility has been expanded to include Android 16. To install the latest update on your smartphone, just go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.

Let us remind you that the Galaxy M13 5G is equipped with a 6.6-inch LCD screen with FHD + resolution. It is powered by Exynos 850 SoC with 5000mAh battery. Memory options include 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage with 15W charging. For photography, there is a 50MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultrawide sensor and 2MP depth sensor at the back, and an 8MP front camera.
