Samsung will release a 5G smartphone that will be one of the cheapest devices in this segment. This was reported by Dutch publication GalaxyClub.
According to the announced report, the Korean company plans to launch a 5G version of its popular inexpensive smartphone Galaxy A23. The current version of A23 only supports 4G networks. The device is equipped with the Snapdragon 680 chip, so most likely the new device will have an updated processor.
Insiders also said that the planned device will have roughly the same specs as the current 4G model. Introduced in March, the device is equipped with a 6.6-inch IPS screen with a frequency of 90 Hz, 4 gigabytes of RAM and 64 gigabytes of internal memory, a quad-lens camera with a resolution of 50, 5, 2 and 2 megapixels, NFC.
The material says that the smartphone should launch by mid-2022. The price of the Galaxy A23 5G has not been announced, but it is known that the phone will go on sale in Europe.
