Previous leaks based on data from China’s investor news service did not materialize. The publication wrote that the headset will apparently go on sale on January 26-27 (depending on time zone). However, it turned out that users will not be able to receive their devices this month.

When will Apple Vision Pro be released?

• According to Apple’s official statement, pre-orders will open January 19.
• Shipments to customers and sales at physical Apple Stores in the US will begin February 2.

According to the press release, the device will only have 256 gigabytes of memory. Previously, insiders assumed the company would install at least 512 gigabytes, possibly even a full terabyte. There is currently no further information on whether higher-end variants with more storage will be available.

The price of Vision Pro will be $ 3,499. Apple also announced pricing details for the optional reading and prescription lenses: ZEISS Optical Tips – Readers will be available for $99 and ZEISS Optical Tips – Prescription will be available for $149.

Apple says the Vision Pro comes with Solo Mesh Tape and Dual Loop Tape, “giving users the two options that work best for them.”

Apple’s Vision Pro mixed reality headset will be available only in the United States at launch. As for the rest of the world, Apple says it plans to launch in more countries later this year.

• Two micro OLED displays with a total resolution of 23 million pixels.
• The M2 processor is paired with the new R1 chip, which processes input from 12 cameras, five sensors and six microphones.
