Blackview has officially announced that its dual-screen flagship smartphone Blackview BL8000 will be released on January 17 this year.
The optional square screen displays messages, notifications and call information and provides access to the compass, weather forecast, camera and more. In addition, this screen allows you to take selfies with the 50-megapixel main camera with Samsung GN5 sensor. The wide-angle camera has a resolution of 8 MP, while the front camera is equipped with a 16 megapixel sensor.
The smartphone featured a 6.78-inch FHD+ display with 2.4K resolution and up to 120 Hz dynamic refresh rate. Maximum brightness reaches 550 cd/m2. The smartphone is built on the Dimensity 7050 single-chip system, has up to 24 GB of DDR5 RAM (12 GB physical and 12 GB virtual) and UFS 3.1 flash memory with a capacity of 512 GB. It scored 619369 points in the Antutu test.
Reinforced with rubber corners and aluminum alloy frame, Blackview BL8000 has an IP68/IP69K rating and MIL-STD 810H certification. It can also withstand temperatures between -40 and +80° C, and thanks to Glove Mode 2.0 support, its screen recognizes the touch of gloves. It will support updated 4-in-1 navigation with dual-frequency GPS.
The smartphone runs Android 4.0 with the latest version of DokeOS 13. It received a battery with a capacity of 8800 mAh, which provides 10 hours of gaming. With 33W fast charging, it can be charged up to 50% in just 38 minutes. The value of the novelty was $200.
