The idea was implemented by French start-up Skyted, which brought together experts from Airbus, the European Space Agency and the French aerospace laboratory ONERA. It promises secret conversations on the street, indoors, on public transport, on airplanes and other crowded places.

The device is made in the form factors of a mask that covers part of the face and reliably blocks sounds.

• Passive sound insulation is provided with LEONAR coating, which is used especially in the sound insulation of jet engines that make a lot of noise.
• Active noise isolation is also mentioned. There are no details about it, but we are probably talking about an analogue of noise canceling technology that blocks sounds in the headphones. In other words, the electronic system prevents the spread of noise and speech by creating opposing sound waves that cancel each other.

There is a mask inside Built-in microphone that captures the user’s voice and transmits it via Bluetooth to the smartphone (works with both iOS and Android). Feedback is provided by third-party headphones.
