Huawei launched the Nova 12 series in China last month. The flagship model of the series, Nova 12 Ultra, is available for sale in the domestic market as of today.

Nova 12 Ultra is available in three colors: Black, Blue and Grey. It comes in two storage options: 512GB and 1TB, priced at 4,699 yuan ($658) and 5,499 yuan ($769), respectively.

Nova 12 Ultra is equipped with a 6.76-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. There is a pill-shaped notch that houses the dual front-facing cameras, and the screen is protected by scratch-resistant Kunlun glass. It is light (198 grams) and thin (7.68 mm).

The device is powered by Kirin 9000SL chipset paired with 12 GB RAM and 1 TB storage. 9000SL is a 5G chipset; This means you can enjoy 5G network services and the phone also offers satellite connectivity features. In terms of software, it comes with HarmonyOS 4.0 out of the box.

On the back of the device, there is a triple camera managed by a 50 MP main sensor. This is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and macro scooter. Note that the main camera has 2x optical zoom and 5x digital zoom, along with variable aperture (f/1.4 to f/4.0) for improved low-light performance.

On the front, there is a 60-megapixel ultra-wide-angle selfie camera and an 8-megapixel portrait camera, both with autofocus.

The backlight is powered by a 4,600mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging. Other features include in-display fingerprint sensor, dual SIM support, gesture navigation, face unlock, Bluetooth 5.2 and various audio codecs.
