South Korean tech giant Samsung, last year ISOCELL HP1 announced the smartphone camera sensor, which he named as The ISOCELL HP1, which went down in history as the world’s first 200MP smartphone camera, was able to group pixels together with its ChameleonCell technology, yielding highly detailed images. However, the Samsung ISOCELL HP1 has not been used in any smartphone so far. This left the camera performance a matter of curiosity.

now Samsung, has done important work to show what ISOCELL HP1 has to offer. To show what this camera has to offer, Samsung engineers used special rigs and took a picture of a cat. 200MP resolution photo, in the next stage it was printed on printers used for industrial purposes. Samsung’s goal in this study was to show how ISOCELL HP1 preserves details.

It’s not easy to print a photo taken at 200MP resolution. That is why Samsung put the printed parts together afterwards. Because the size of the cat photo you see above, 28 meters by 22 meters.†

Pixel size is the main reason why the Samsung ISOCELL HP1 can preserve the image in all its details. So much so that if you want to take a photo with a resolution of 200 MP while using this camera sensor, the specified pixel size 0.64 micrometers is happening.
