According to information released today by technology analyst Jeff Pu, Apple’s new generation iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus models will have 8 GB RAM, down from 6 GB RAM on the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.
Pu confirmed in a research note with investment firm Haitong International Securities that he believes all iPhone 16 models will be equipped with 8GB of RAM. Increasing RAM can help improve multitasking performance on iPhone.

Pu also expects the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus to support Wi-Fi 6E, which operates in the 6GHz band, providing faster wireless speeds and reducing signal interference with a compatible router.
