Company Motorola’s officially presented a new smartphone Moto G Play 2024Despite its name, it is definitely not for gaming purposes. This is a budget device in a plastic case and without 5G support, which will be priced at $150 in the American market. At the same time, the novelty received a number of improvements compared to the previous model: a more efficient processor, twice as much internal memory and an improved camera.

Play Moto G The 2024 is built on Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC and runs on Android 13. The smartphone has 64GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card. The screen of the device is 6.5 inches, 720p resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate are not bad for this class. Also, the novelty received a 50 MP main and 8 MP front camera. Battery capacity is 5000 mAh and supports fast charging at 15 W.

The smartphone, whose dimensions are 163.82×74.96×8.29 mm and weight 185 grams, has a degree of protection against dust and water in accordance with the IP52 standard. US sales of the Moto G Play 2024 will begin on February 8, and a non-carrier-exclusive version will be available on the manufacturer’s website and at online retailers. The smartphone will be available in Canada starting January 26.
