Asus announced that its ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone Pro flagship smartphones are now available in China. They differ only in the amount of memory. Asus ROG Phone 8 is offered for sale at a price of $670 for the version with 12/256 GB memory, and for $743 for the version with 16/256 GB memory. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is priced at $840 and $1,100 for 16/512GB and 24GB/1TB storage respectively. European prices turned out to be much higher.

Asus ROG Phone 8 has a 1.67mm widescreen bezel, which is 14% thinner than the ROG 7, and the top bezel thickness of the ROG 8 has been reduced by 4mm, making it 71% thinner than its predecessor.

The smartphones are equipped with a 6.78-inch Samsung E6 AMOLED display with a frequency of 165 Hz and a maximum brightness of 2500 cd/m.² Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 single-chip system. It received a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main camera, a 32-megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 5-megapixel macro camera. It has IP68 protection. The smartphones have a large battery with a capacity of 5500 mAh and the HyperCharge fast charging function with a power of 65 W, and the power of wireless charging is 15 W.
