Realme 12 Pro series will be available in India soon. However, on the eve of the official release, the company shared a new teaser highlighting the possibility of the upcoming Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ Super Zoom using a telephoto sensor. So let’s see.

Realme 12 Pro series offers 120x Super Zoom feature

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer shared a new teaser on its official X page (formerly Twitter). A short teaser video showing Zoom’s functionality was also shared. According to the teaser, the Realme 12 Pro series will support 120x Super Zoom, which is likely to combine optical and digital zoom. The teaser states that the device will allow users to capture images of very distant objects.

As a reminder, the model range consists of Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro + models. Although recent rumors also gave clues about the Realme 12 Pro Max model. The brand plans to announce the device on January 29, 2024, and it has been confirmed on Flipkart that the entire series will be available for sale. Realme had previously reported that the DSLR-class camera offers 80mm focal length for 3x optical zoom, 6x touch zoom and 120x super zoom.

According to what we know so far, the Realme 12 Pro series includes Sony IMX890 with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) support as the main sensor, as well as an OV64B periscopic telephoto camera.
