Nokia G22, Nokia Mobile’s first smartphone with a quick fix system, has joined the exclusive club of devices being tested for the Android 14 update.

Nokia Mobile, soon to be called HMD Global, has tested the Nokia X30, Nokia G42 and Nokia G60 5G, signaling that the next major update for its devices will likely be released en masse.

Nokia G22 recently appeared on Geekbench and scored 375 in the single-core test and 1338 in the multi-core test running Android 14. These results show an improvement in single-core performance compared to the device tested on Android 13.

However, the difference is not significant enough to be noticeable in regular use. It is worth noting that these are preliminary tests and the device will probably be developed before the final release.
