Realme has quietly launched its new entry-level smartphone, Realme Note 50, in the Philippines. This is the first smartphone under the Note brand in the company’s history. The main advantages of the device include a 90 Hz screen, Unisoc chip, large battery and slim design. Here’s a look at what’s in store for Note 50 buyers.

Starting from the front, Realme Note 50 features a 6.74-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution of 1600×720 pixels. The screen also offers a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz, a touch sampling rate of 180 Hz and a pixel density of 260 ppi. It comes with an IP54 dust and water resistant housing that is 7.99 mm thick and weighs 186 grams.
Realme Note 50 has security features like side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock. The device runs Android 13 Go based on Realme UI T.
The Note 50 has a Unisoc T612 chip onboard. It also offers 4 GB RAM, 64 GB internal storage and a 5,000 mAh battery with 10 W charging support via USB-C port. There is a microSD card slot for additional storage.
For photography, the Realme Note 50 has a 5-megapixel camera on the front and a 13-megapixel camera on the back with a monochrome sensor and LED flash. The device also offers other features such as dual SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB-C port and 3.5 mm audio jack.
