It looks like Huawei is planning to launch a new flagship smartphone series P70 soon. The tipster revealed the launch plan for premium devices, reportedly set for the first half of 2024.

According to the news on Weibo, the Chinese technology giant plans to launch the P70 series in late March 2024 or early April 2024. The person claimed that the release date source was reliable and accurate. But since this is just an unconfirmed report, treat it with caution for now. From what we know so far, the Huawei P70 series is expected to include Chinese OLED panels from BOE, COST, Visionax, and Tianma.

Although the screen will not offer the 2K resolution common on high-end devices, it will have a 1.5K resolution instead. For those who don’t know, the Huawei P series is one of the brand’s flagship phones that focuses on photography. According to rumors, the P70 will be equipped with the Kirin 9000S chipset. This is the same processor that powers the Mate 60 series.

Earlier this month, the P70’s design was also revealed in another leak. It is said that there will be a 1-inch Sony IMX989 main camera on the back along with the new OmniVision OV50H sensor.
