OnePlus recently held the ‘Smooth Beyond Belief’ event in India where it launched the OnePlus 12 series globally. Apart from the flagship OnePlus 12, the brand also launched the OnePlus 12R, a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 3, a China-exclusive smartphone.

During the presentation, the brand also announced that the OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition will be released globally on February 28. This launch coincides with the launch of the OnePlus Ace 3 Genshin Impact Edition device in China.

Based on one of Keking’s Genshin Impact in-game characters, this special edition variant will feature an Electro Violet color. The game is expected to feature unique design elements and software enhancements designed to optimize the gaming experience. Apart from the software and unique appearance, the device will be identical to the regular OnePlus 12R in terms of hardware.

The standard OnePlus 12R is available in Iron Gray and Cool Blue colors and comes in two configurations: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage for Rs 39,999 and the top-end model with 16GB RAM and 256GB storage for Rs 45,999. The smartphone will go on sale on February 6 and will be available via Amazon, OnePlus India online store and major retail stores including Reliance Digital, Croma and OnePlus. OnePlus 12R customers are also getting free OnePlus Buds Z2 with an additional Rs 1,000 instant discount on ICICI Bank cards.

OnePlus 12R features a 6.78-inch ProXDR AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 1-120Hz LTPO technology and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and runs on an operating system based on Oxygen 14 OS. Android 14. The camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor, 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro camera. The device is equipped with a 5500mAh battery that supports 100W SuperVOOC fast charging. Other features include 5G connectivity, in-display fingerprint scanner, and IP64 rating, positioning it as a competitive option in the smartphone market.
