Until now, it was believed that the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ share the same Sony IMX890 primary camera. However, the poster below shows that the 12 Pro has a different main camera sensor.
Realme 12 Pro+ will feature Sony IMX890, a camera sensor commonly used in flagship and sub-flagship phones. On the other hand, Realme 12 Pro will have a completely new Sony IMX882 camera sensor. According to reports, the IMX882 sensor is the same as the LYT-600 sensor found in phones like the Oppo Reno 11 5G and Vivo S18e, both of which are available in the Chinese market.
The rear camera of the 12 Pro+ will feature a 64-megapixel OV64B periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. On the other hand, 12 Pro is expected to have a 32 megapixel telephoto camera. Both devices are said to have an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
According to reports, Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ are expected to have 16-megapixel and 32-megapixel front cameras respectively. While the Pro variant may feature the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, the Pro+ will feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC.
There is currently no information about the price of the Realme 12 Pro series. The series may include a 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display, up to 12 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of storage and a 5,000 mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
