Xiaomi introduced the Xiaomi 13 Ultra in China in April last year. Many reports claim that the 14 Ultra will be released earlier than its predecessor. It looks like the company executive has already started making jokes about its arrival, hinting that the device could launch in China in February. It was stated that Chinese liquor, which has a good track record, will also be removed from the shelves next month.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra launch time (rumours)

According to the report, Xiaomi 14 Ultra equipped with Leica Summilux lens is tentatively planned to be released in late February. According to recent reports, the primary camera of the device is expected to support variable aperture range between f/1.63 and f/4.0.

Latest reports have revealed that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will feature a 50-megapixel LYT-900 camera with a one-inch sensor as the primary camera. The device’s 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera is expected to have a focal length of up to 120 mm. The quad camera system may include a 50-megapixel IMX8 series ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera.

Although there have been leaks regarding additional cameras on the phone, exact details have not been confirmed yet. Some reports claim that Xiaomi 14 Ultra may also have an under-display camera.

Under the hood of Xiaomi 14 Ultra, there will be a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and two-way satellite connection support. A 5180mAh battery with 50W wireless charging and 90W wired charging support is expected to power the device.

In terms of design, the 14 Ultra may not offer a major overhaul. The device is expected to come in shades such as blue, orange and black. While the first one will have a glass back, the other two are said to have a silicone shell.

There is a possibility that Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be unveiled at the MWC 2024 technology fair to be held at the end of February. Xiaomi Pad 7 series is also likely to be released along with the 14 Ultra.
