On America’s largest Reddit forum, users are discussing the darkening screen problem of the Samsung Galaxy S24. The fact is that in case of a “lack of color” on the screen in the default state, the company recommends going to the display settings and activating the “bright” mode instead of “neutral”.

But the problem is that if you switch, nothing will change on the screen – the colors will remain almost the same as in the “neutral” mode.

“This is my biggest problem with the phone right now. Another strange issue is that sometimes gboard crashes while typing something, but this is probably a gboard issue,” wrote a Galaxy S24 user.

The issue appears to be software-related, and there are reports that the Galaxy S24’s dim screen issue will be resolved in one of the February firmware updates.
