A photo of the Australian Bushmaster armored vehicle with the Ukrainian flag was posted on Twitter by journalist Andrew Green. The first batch has already been prepared for shipment to Ukraine.
At Ukraine’s request last week, an exclusive photo of one of the first four Australian Bushmasters, recently repainted and refitted before being sent to Europe in a C-17,
– the journalist mentioned in the letter.

How many cars of this type Ukraine will buy is currently unknown. According to Defense Express, Bushmaster armored vehicles are not only in service with the Australian army. They are also used:
- Royal Australian Air Force,
- Royal Netherlands Army,
- british army,
- indonesian Army,
- Land Self-Defense Forces of Japan,
- Fiji Infantry Regiment,
- Jamaica Defense Force;
- New Zealand Army.

Bushmaster armored vehicles have proven themselves very well in real combat conditions. Specifically, the Netherlands used these cars to secure its contingent in Afghanistan in 2006. Although several such vehicles were lost in the explosion, ambush using small arms and in RPGs, none of the army died.
