Xiaomi is preparing to launch the new Redmi K70 Ultra model in the Chinese domestic market. However, various leaks and rumors have revealed many features of the device even before its official launch. Now the latest rumor has even shared details of a large battery pack for the upcoming smartphone.
The Chinese technology giant plans to launch the Redmi K70 Ultra and Note 13 Turbo in the first half of this year. Details about the K70 Ultra have been surfacing online for the past few weeks, and the latest information has revealed its battery specifications. In a new post on Weibo, tipster Smart Pikachu shared the battery specifications of the old device.
An online report claims that the Redmi K70 Ultra will be powered by a battery of over 5,000mAh. When a Weibo user asked if this meant a 5,500mAh battery, the tipster simply responded with a thumbs up. In other words, the massive 5,500mAh capacity is likely to be the battery powering the new smartphone. The leak adds that the new Redmi tablet will also be launched in China soon.
Based on what we know so far, the Redmi K70 Ultra is expected to feature a 1.5K OLED display with a peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits. Under the hood, the phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC paired with up to 24GB LPDDR5T RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.
