iQOO is working on a new model of the Z series smartphone called iQOO Z9. We have been covering some reports regarding this device lately and now a well-known speaker has revealed the display specifications of the Z9 5G.

Features of iQOO Z9 screen

The news comes from Digital Chat Station, which shared the information on Weibo (a Chinese microblogging site). Judging by the online publication, the company will reportedly have the iQOO Z9 with a 1.5K OLED display. Just last week, the iQOO Z9 5G was spotted at the Bluetooth SIG certification with model number I2302.

This listing also confirms support for Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. The certification indicates that the device will be released soon. Another report from late January 2024 also revealed details of the iQOO Z9 chipset. The Chinese version of iQOO Z9 is expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8300 SoC. We remind you that the future smartphone is a direct successor of the iQOO Z8, released in September 2023 with the Dimensity 8200 chip.

The Z8 is powered by a larger 5,000 mAh battery, but the Z9 looks like it could offer more capacity. We can expect improvements in other aspects of the Z9 as well. The Z8 offers 120W fast charging, which is likely to reappear in the next-gen model. On the back, the Z9 has a 64-megapixel dual camera setup that can be upgraded.
