Recently, HMD announced that it gave up the Nokia brand. The company has owned the Nokia brand since 2016. While HMD is expected to announce its own branded smartphones in the near future, the company has gone further and launched the Nokia G22 in a new color. The statement was made by official authorities page HMDX

Nokia G22 gets a new color variant

The user-repairable Nokia G22 was unveiled at last year’s MWC. It was announced in Meteor Grey, Pink and Lagoon Blue colours. A recently introduced color variant is called So Peach. The back panel of the device has a peach color. The rest of the main features are almost unchanged. For those who don’t know, Peach Fuzz is Pantone’s color of the year 2024.

The price of Nokia G22 So Peach will probably be the same as the other color variants. The price of the basic version with 4 GB + 64 GB starts from 130 euros. The availability of the device remains uncertain.

Nokia G22 has a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a thick bottom chin. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a rectangular camera module on the back that houses a 50MP primary sensor and dual 2MP lenses. Internally, the smartphone is powered by a Unisoc T606 processor paired with 4GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. There is also 2 GB virtual RAM and microSD support up to 2 TB. It is backed by a 5050mAh battery with 20W charging support. The device comes with Android 12 and two-year guaranteed operating system updates.
