Xiaomi’s CEO and founder took to X.com (formerly Twitter.com) to announce the global launch of the Xiaomi 14 series with a poster. With the announcement of the launch date, there has been excitement among technology enthusiasts, especially considering the potential launch of Xiaomi 14 Ultra. This speculation comes against the background of a poster that prominently features the device’s distinctive camera module.

Depending on the date, we expect it to be unveiled at MWC Barcelona. It seems like even Xiaomi deliberately skipped mentioning the location and time of the launch. Therefore, we expect another announcement in the coming days that will confirm the location and other launch details. Besides the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, the Xiaomi 14 is also attracting a lot of attention, even though it was launched in China last year with the Xiaomi 14 Pro.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will surpass the camera capabilities of the Xiaomi 14 Pro as it will have a variable aperture with four rear camera modules. It may come with a 50MP Sony LYT-900 sensor. Additionally, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to feature a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with an impressive focal length of up to 120mm. The quad camera system can optionally include a 50-megapixel IMX8 series ultra-wide lens and an additional 50-megapixel telephoto camera.

Xioami 14 Ultra also entered Geekbench and IMEI databases and revealed some features and details about the smartphone.

In terms of design, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to have similar aesthetics to its rumored predecessors, with color options such as blue, orange and black. It may be released with an under-screen camera. It is said to have a large battery capacity of 5180mAh with 50W wireless charging and 90W wired charging.
