iPhone is preparing for its next evolution. This will not only offer it in familiar formats, but will also add at least two new variants, according to The Information. Surprise? Both will be foldable.

Foldable iPhones appear. The Information article quotes “a person with direct knowledge of the situation.” According to this source, Apple is developing “at least two prototype iPhones.”

They fold horizontally. An interesting fact: Both models adopt a fold in terms of width; In other words, they follow the format of Galaxy Z Flip5, not the format of Fold5, which has a hinge on its vertical axis. So we’re looking at a design that will be more compact a priori, but once deployed will still allow for having an iPhone with dimensions similar to those of the iPhone 15 Pro/Max.
