Late last month, HMD confirmed that it would soon launch products under its own brand. At least 9 smartphones are expected from the company in the near future. One of them was recently leaked, revealing its design and main camera. Now two more have been spotted on Geekbench.
Two HMD branded smartphones, codenamed Legend and LegendPro, appeared in the Geekbench database. Their listings reveal the common chipset and different RAM capacities. These phones will be powered by the entry-level Unisoc T606 chip. While Legend has 4GB of RAM, LegendPro will have 8GB of RAM.
On the software side, both will run Android 14. They will probably offer a near-stock version of Android like Nokia-branded phones.
Unfortunately, that’s all the information we have about upcoming products. We hope to learn more about them in the coming days. Apart from these phones, HMD is also expected to launch a smartphone with a 108MP camera with OIS. Recently, prolific leakster Evan Blass also shared the code names of 6 HMD phones.
Two of these products are the aforementioned Legend and LegendPro. The others are Pulse, Pulse+, PulsePro and Legend. HMD (Human Mobile Devices) has scheduled its MWC 2024 event on February 25. Some or all of these phones may be announced at the conference. It is also worth noting that HMD has confirmed that it will continue to produce smartphones under the Nokia brand. In fact, more than 17 models are expected to be released in 2024.
