Xiaomi officially introduced a cheap Redmi A3 smartphone today. The novelty is radically different in design from its predecessor: the main camera unit is very similar to the Xiaomi 13 Ultra camera unit. But the camera itself is the simplest, and this is quite typical for a $ 90 smartphone: the resolution of the main sensor is 8 MP, the additional sensor is also 8 MP. The front camera is 5 megapixels.

Redmi A3 received an IPS screen with a diagonal of 6.7 inches, a resolution of 1650×720 pixels and a frame rate of 90 Hz. The hardware platform is based on SoC MediaTek Helio G36, the software platform is Android 13 with MIUI 14 interface. The battery capacity is 5000 mAh, it supports charging with 10 W power.

Redmi A3 will get a USB-C port, a slot for microSD cards and a standard headphone jack. Prices are as follows: 3/64 GB – $90, 4/128 GB – $100, 6/128 GB – $110. Sales in India will start on February 23.
