iPhone 16 Pro may come in two new colors

According to a leaker known as “Majin Bu”, Apple’s upcoming iPhone 16 Pro models may come in brand new colors such as “Desert Titanium” and “Titanium Gray”.

Majin Bu said in a new post on X (formerly Twitter) that “Desert Titanium” will be similar to the Gold color offered on the iPhone 14 Pro in 2022, but deeper and heavier. Titanium Gray, on the other hand, will apparently be similar to the Space Gray color introduced on the iPhone 6 in 2014.

iPhone 15 Pro is available in Black Titanium, White Titanium, Blue Titanium, and Natural Titanium. It is also worth noting that there is no gold-plated iPhone 15 Pro. Gold was available on the iPhone 5S from 2013 to 2017, the iPhone 8 from 2017, then the iPhone XS from 2018, and the iPhone 14 Pro from 2022. As a result, it seems quite reasonable to reintroduce the gold color in the “iPhone 16 Pro”.

Apple’s ‌iPhone‌ “Pro” models were not always available in more than four color options at launch; usually basic black, white and gold options, as well as more vibrant colors like green, blue or purple. This means that Black Titanium and White Titanium will most likely carry over from the “iPhone 15 Pro” to the “iPhone 16 Pro”, but the continuation of Blue Titanium and Natural Titanium is far from certain. It is possible that these color options will be discontinued to make room for Desert Titanium and Titanium Gray, especially since Titanium Gray is so similar to Natural Titanium.

This is the first rumor about “iPhone 16 Pro” color options, and Majin Bu has a mixed history of revealing exact information about Apple’s plans. However, it is likely that more information will emerge in the coming months as we get closer to launch.
